Can a Zipper Truly Deliver Wind Resistance, Water Repellence, and Durability All at Once?

NOTAPE™:

Traditional water-resistant zippers typically rely on laminated tape, but those films can age over time and may also compromise breathability. NOTAPE™ takes a different approach. Through precision tooth molding and an engineered interlocking structure, we achieve a physical level of water repellence without the need for laminated film.

In terms of durability, the weak points of a conventional zipper are usually the connection between the tape and the zipper teeth, as well as the stitching itself. By removing both, and allowing the zipper teeth to integrate directly with the fabric, the overall structure becomes more stable.

Combined with a lightweight design, this also improves comfort during extended wear. So rather than enhancing just one function, NOTAPE™ is designed to create a better balance across wind resistance, water repellence, durability, lightness, and wearing comfort.
